Núria is an installation artist researching bio-art and place. Shortly after graduating from Lancaster University, she co-founded the GAP Studio, an artist collective located in a studio space by the Morecambe seaside.

Her art practice is curious about the unexplored spaces between art and science, using new technologies and scientific tools to imagine different ways of knowing in our context of the Anthropocene. Núria often works in lab hybrid studio to directily collaborate with biological living media . From this direct interaction with living organisms, the artist creates installations that combine video, live performance and sound.

Núria’s artwork seeks to explores the living, which means it deals with the ephemeral, the fragile and the unpredictable. Her artwork is an invitation to notice other life forms by bringing their scales and temporalities into the map of our perception.
